The Challenge

The 20-floor Brickell tower with 3 underground parking levels required full camera coverage via PoE infrastructure — eliminating coaxial wiring throughout the building. The parking garages presented a specific challenge: standard IR cameras produce glare and poor identification in low-light garage environments. All cameras required centralized NVR access for the on-call security team.

The Solution

IDS CCTV specified Hikvision AcuSense 4MP dome cameras for all interior spaces — these provide deep learning-based false alarm filtering to reduce unnecessary security alerts. For the parking garages, Hikvision ColorVu turret cameras were selected for their full-color night performance without IR glare. A 32-channel NVR with 60-day retention and remote access was deployed for the security team.
