The Challenge
A new-construction hotel requires full technology infrastructure from scratch — structured data cabling, security cameras, networking, access control, and in-room technology — all coordinated with multiple construction trades during the active build phase. Timing and sequencing of each technology category with framing, drywall, and finish work required tight project management to avoid costly rework.
The Solution
IDS CCTV served as the single technology contractor for the entire project — eliminating coordination overhead between multiple vendors. All Cat6 rough-in was completed during framing phase. Camera and WiFi infrastructure was installed during drywall phase. Access control, in-room AV, and network terminations were completed during finish phase. A single project manager coordinated all technology trades with the general contractor.
