Challenge
The chain had grown through acquisitions and organic expansion, leaving each location on a different camera system — multiple NVR brands, inconsistent resolutions, and no shared monitoring platform. The loss prevention team could not remotely review footage across locations and incident response required physical on-site visits. Several older locations had sub-HD cameras and broken NVR channels with no logging.
Solution
IDS CCTV designed a standardized 20-camera layout for each store — Hanwha Wisenet 5MP vandal domes for floor and checkout coverage, IR vandal domes for stockrooms, and IR bullet cameras for all exterior points. A Hanwha XRN-1610S 16-channel NVR per location provides 45-day retention. Wisenet WAVE VMS connects all 12 locations into a single cloud-accessible dashboard for the LP team.
