Challenge
The facility operated a fragmented, decade-old analog CCTV system distributed across multiple buildings. Resolution was inadequate for identification, the legacy DVR infrastructure had no remote access capability, and incoming federal compliance requirements mandated a full transition to NDAA Section 889-certified equipment. The upgrade had to be completed without disrupting active facility operations.
Solution
IDS CCTV supplied 250 Hanwha Wisenet cameras — a mix of 5MP vandal dome and bullet models — covering all interior corridors, offices, lobbies, exterior perimeters, parking areas, and controlled access zones. Eight 32-channel NVRs provide distributed recording with RAID storage, and Wisenet WAVE VMS unifies all footage into a single, role-based operator dashboard.
